Recognition of Emery Cotton

Emory Cotton's father thanked God, his parents, and his family and asked that his daughter stay humble and be allowed to remain a kid without pressure.

Emory's mother thanked the council for recognizing her daughter and asked the community to continue supporting her journey.

The eight-year-old champion said she likes running and having fun at meets, thanked her fans, and noted her father is putting her in the 800 meters for indoor season.
